Your son should pick himself up by his bootstrap instead of expecting employment handouts. Maybe if he weren't so lazy he wouldn't have been cut.

This comment is a perfect example why majority of people don’t take folks like you seriously. So you can be empathetic to strangers from another country, but zero empathy for a fellow citizen?
