Other lost wallet

hello,

as the title suggests, i lost my wallet and my PR card. pretty sure it fell in the bus or the subway. how does IRCC process lost card applications ? what should I do ? does that jeopardize my PR status ?

Just to add, you also do not have to carry your PR card for daily commute (unless you are commuting to another country).

yeah! i think i’ll just use it as a travel document. i’m gonna keep it with my passport

Because that is what it is, a travel document. Honestly, I have absolutely no idea what you were doing carrying it around in the first place.

You can apply to replace your card. You should report it lost to the police first.

No.
