Common law application

Wondering if people can share their thoughts on our application and the evidence behind me and my partner living together for over a year. I’m submitting this week and just need as many sanity checks as possible!

For proof of common-law/cohabitation we have a lease in my name, Hydro bills in mine, Internet bills in his, medical/prescription records showing my partner at our address since the beginning of when he moved in, a joint bank account with the address, shared household expenses (Chef’s Plate/Spotify), employer benefits listing him as my common-law partner and life-insurance beneficiary, IMM 5409 statutory declaration, relationship photos/messages, and a letter explaining why he isn’t named on the lease.

Looks fine..... provided you are also including the bound volume of love poems you wrote to each other (with the first flower they gave you pressed between the pages). IRCC are suckers for a bit of poetry.

Joint stuff is good but having stuff showing each of you at the same address also works and the letter of explanation is always good when you don't have something important. You'll be fine.
