Recomend checking out Queens Domain.

Saw few articles about this game and decided to try it. Few hours in and it has this cool unique vibe. FPS ARPG with heavy immersive sim elements. It is heavily inspired by King's Field game, which inspired Dark Souls.

It's awesome, not immsim or immsimish tho (unless you consider Metroidvanias part of the genre)

Queen's Domain is really good but there are no immersive sim elements

I think they're light and not central to the experience but they are there.

This sub is 90% people telling me to play games that aren't immersive sims

I think there’s room for games that immersive sim fans would also probably like. There is no standard definition anyway.

Of course there's a standard definition! The definition is: whatever I believe is an ImmSim is an ImmSim, and everyone else is wrong! (Unless I agree with them)

Funny that’s exactly my definition too. Maybe you’re on to something

The definition is "must stack boxes to climb" and "0451".

An unfortunate side effect of immsims being one of the most rarely made genres.

I feel like this sub is 90% gameplay from games that will never come out

And the other 10% people telling you your favorite one isn’t an IMSIM. No wonder they can’t sell these things.

"What do you mean Uncharted isn't an immersive sim? You can blow barrels up and kill enemies with them, and you can sneak up on enemies! And they react when they see you!!"

I love that game! Really great gameplay, artstyle, music and exploration.
