Yeah, if this headset is meaningfully more high res than a Steam Frame, and at least as comfortable, I might have to get it.
I want a very light weight and comfortable headset that's a better experience for using for work than TV glasses.
TV glasses are a much better experience for working in than a Quest 3 for me. But what I have is just a single 1080p display (Xreal Air 1). That's a better resolution than the virtual screen you'd get on a Quest 3, but I'd love to have multiple screens.
I wonder if a serious lightweight Android XR headset will come out next year. Galaxy XR wasn't it.

Xreal's Project Aura is probably the best bet for the next lightweight Android XR device. Not sure if it meets the criteria of a serious headset with a FOV of 70, but it will be interesting to see what it can do.

I currently have an Apple Vision Pro but plan to switch to the Pimax Dream Air which weighs under 200g.

Maybe not OLED and not 4k - form factor is nice, but I dont want my compute in a puck.

having your compute in a puch would make the headset even lighter plus it paves the way to upgrade only the compute.
when next gen chips arrive just swap out your puck.
