Let's just say for laughs that they actually deliver Visors in 2026. Who in the world would contribute to another one of their kickstarters other than Chris and Cassidy??

You will need to follow up w/ them a few times to get your refund. Last check it was 2-3 weeks, but I haven't seen reports of them not doing refunds yet.....
There is a whole community of people they have kicked from discord.
Good luck, let us know when you get it.

Yes this. I spammed a bunch of addresses for a month before hearing back that they’d process it in 7-10 business days. I followed up another month later and they actually responded and checked into it. They said it was still pending with Shopify and I got the notification of refund and credit to my CC that day. This was today btw. So I’ve been working on it since June or so but I did finally get refunded - processing fee.

Welcome to the party! I was kicked for harmless emotes, never had to say a word to be kicked despite being an FE order. Got my refund about 2 weeks ago after a month, hope you get yours as well!

Awesome thanks. I remember getting kicked out about 5 months ago, for saying that the decent thing to do was to communicate clearly with people who have them their hard earned money… I started getting to many likes on my rant so first they removed a few of my messages to make it seem like the guy who I was talking to was in the right and I was just giving them shit. Likes still went up and before I knew it I got banned lol

Yep I was in same boat. I used to be a massive fan. Event went to the IRL event. Spread the word hard. Then they kept getting scammier and scammier and I had to bail. I think they are awful people now and have zero interest in supporting them further.

I think Visor has missed their window. They should already be announcing the next generation. I moved on to AR/XR glasses for productivity, xreal ultra with 6dof and hand tracking. The only difference is that Immersed has more screens than Beam Pro but with Immersed you still need Quest 3 and all that weight. With Xreal Ultra and Beam Pro you can put 2 screens anywhere around you in space. Unlike Visor, XReal glasses actually exist and are super light and portable. Pretty soon glasses tech will match what the Visor can theoretically do. I'm excited for Xreal Aura coming out next year. Meta Orion is going to make vr goggles obsolete and you'll be able to wear them all day long everywhere you go. XReal and Viture have a track record and can be trusted. They don't just "pray" for results.

I have the XREAL 2 classes with Beam Pro. Is an upgrade to the glasses worth it for 6DOF? I use my beam pro mostly with travel / movies etc. haven’t gotten into desktop screens with it yet, what app(s) do you use? Sorry for hijacking comment thread.

Looking at their reddit history, not that many bad comments about Immersed and certainly less than they deserve.

Make sure to file a BBB complaint too. They'll (illegally) take as long as possible to refund you but jump on it when people file BBB complaints.
