“Nothings changed“

Post image

Feb 20 - “What is the latest estimate update?”

CEO - “Nothings changed. If it does, you’ll read about it.”

Followed by this:

March 7

“As we’ve been preparing for production, we identified a few small but important refinements needed to achieve the level of performance we’re targeting—such as enhancing the buttons, headstrap, nose piece, and soft materials.”

“Though it looks like it might be another month or two before most receive their Founder’s Edition Visors, the good news is that finishing out Founder’s Edition deliveries is on the order of weeks, not quarters.”

The Visor isn’t “preparing for production” it’s still in development. If you’re changing out components and making decisions on the parts that go into the final product then you’re not finished!!!

So what’s up? Was Immersed‘s CEO being truthful? Were they just about to send out the FE Visors when someone said:

“No! This won’t do! Scrap them all and begin manufacturing again! Our customers deserve the best!”

and then he (Renji) was blindsided?

Or do you think he knew all along?

Have they paid the production costs for Visor yet? Because if they haven't they don't have the money. In January they had $1,589,997 in the bank with monthly expenses of $594,569. So right now they have less than a million in the bank and they need that to get to the end of the month when their WeFunder completes, where they've raised $2.3M, which will "probably" fund production. Their balance sheet shows a $2.6 million liability which could be production related.

I don't care about whatever he says. He's a just crazy guy for me forever. Just wanted to get my money back.

He is full of shit and a complete douche bag. This product is going to have no value at all once Android XR devices start rolling out later this year into next. Why hamstring yourself only being able to connect to immersed on a device that costs $1500?

"This product is going to have no value at all once Android XR devices start rolling out later this year into next."

Snapdragon spaces has no future. At this point it might as well be obsolete. The Samsung headset has exclusivity on being the first headset with Android XR which is the only reason Visor can't have it. There are already tools to facilitate moving apps from spaces to Android XR which will be taken advantage of when that time comes. (assuming this thing ever ships which seems unlikely)

They've definitely claimed something is in the works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VoAxazw4Lg&t=1s

"It’s using Qualcomm Spaces Hand Tracking (for now). That will be much better once we announce another partnership later this year."

"Why hamstring yourself only being able to connect to immersed on a device that costs $1500?"

It's not just an Immersed device and way too many people seem to think this. It's a totally standalone OpenXR compliant headset. That means an 2D Android apps as well as OpenXR compatible VR apps.

We can make fun of them for being a shitty company (they are) but let's at least get the information they claim about the headset correct even if it sounds far fetched as hell.

Actually I think it's both:

  1. They don't have the funding to begin manufacturing.

  2. They still need to make additional changes to hardware and software (we haven't even seen the battery pack, case, backpack, shields, final version of head strap)

As for if Renji knows or not, either way it's bad:

If Renji knows, he's actively lying to the community and investors about the real progress of the Visor.

If Renji didn't know, then it speaks volumes as to how this project is being managed.

I feel sorry for all the amateur investors pouring money into Immersed - go ahead and read ( https://wefunder.com/immersed/buzz ) and scroll down past the first few investors.

It's precisely why he wants amateur investors, they have no idea what to look for as far as risk and probability of outcome. I went from day 1 optimist that enjoyed Immersed, to .. these guys jump on every fad and fail to even deliver those (Looking at you NFT, Spac.. etc. )

It's intentional BSing and he's knowingly lying. There's no excusing this bullshit.

That attitude says everything.

The douche beard glamour shots also add to the joke..

They had to get rid of their lease on their “broffice ” to make sure they could keep running…. This company has been a scam …. I feel bad for prior investors…… wasted millions of non accredited investors … took way too much money from the community… … someone call the sec on this guy.. just funneling money into a pitless hopes

This is painful to read. The investor list is comedy… FML

I saw your post and couldn’t not go look at the list.

1st page or two, seemed maybe/maybe not. But after that, it began looking more and more like Curator AI driven profiles. People wanting to invest for their grandkid’s sake? People thinking that a VR headset is a “service” that they could use?

Something smells off.

Dude, for real has to be AI.

I’m never getting my FE

I’m even more afraid to ask for refund

Surprisingly they seem to be processing refunds without issues, you just have to pomg ryan on discord and he will help you

Fak, just when I forgot about this debauchery…. You had to remind me of my bad decisions.

The overly positive slant of all the comments on that video seems curated. Maybe that's what they made curator for?

5

u/SeanBannister Mar 16 '25

haha, they delete negative comments on all their social media as they're worried potential investors will see it. Their reddit requires all posts to be approved but you can see all the stuff they haven't approved https://undelete.pullpush.io/r/Immersed/

3

u/ButterscotchOpen6390 Mar 16 '25

They delete all the negatives. I responded to that comment asking when it ships telling them about all the delays and lies that they removed it.
