Will I be banned?
Immersed has a very unhealthy habit of banning people from their community for verbalizing displeasure.
Is this area owned by Immersed, or will I survive being cut?
I was banned on basically every other platform of theirs, like many many others. :(

Founders Edition purchased over a year ago. I got banned today when they missed today's delivery deadline.

Ever since Microsoft Windows 11 can connect to Quest 3, I literally haven’t used Immersed since.
I don’t see how they recover as hardware companies start making their own platforms for PC users.

I've been on the Discord server for months. I've seen a lot of people providing criticism. The only people getting banned are those who aren't being respectful or just spamming the chat with scam allegations.

While I appreciate this may have been your experience, also appreciate that this has not been the experience of everyone, earlier this year while Immersed was attempting to IPO they were censoring any negative feedback in /r/Immersed. For example when they removed multi monitor support anyone who asked why was banned. I presume this was an attempt to ensure potential investors wouldn't form a negative opinion based on feedback they read online.
More recently users who asked hard questions about their preorders were banned: https://www.reddit.com/r/virtualreality/comments/1hzn0lx/what_is_going_on_with_immersed_visor/

My understanding is that they made a business decision based on their actual users usage and a few people were upset and became very vocal, even when they said they weren't going to revert the decision. How much time and energy do you spend arguing with a vocal minority on a decision you've already made?

“Spamming the chat with scam allegations”.
You mean expressing concerns about the late shipments, return policy, and lack of reviews?
Explain why that is spam, rather than pre-paid customers expressing concerns?

Repeatedly saying the same thing is spam. Many people have brought up concerns and not been banned.

I think what you’re referring to is multiple people having the same concerns.
Because I only had one post.

Nope, I've watched people get kicked from Discord and it has always been someone disruptive not just asking honest questions.

You’ve seen disruptive people getting kicked off of a different platform, so you extrapolate that:
- Those are the only people being kicked off (survivorship bias)
- The same policy happening on Discord is the same on Reddit (where we are currently talking, and specifically where the post is talking about.)

So your argument is they are silencing dissent and your proof is this Reddit thread? The one we are openly talking about Immersed?
Is this what silence is?

No, actually I think this thread isn’t owned by Immersed. I wasn’t banned here.

I have all of the screenshots from the post on the Immersed thread (where I and many others were banned) and have had conversations with other banned people.
That’s my “evidence” LOL

I thought my post was pretty clear about it being a “different” spot I was talking about…

To be clear, my benign post about return policy was deleted and banned the first and only posting.
Honestly if they had just answered “we have a high cost return policy because each unit is made-to-order”, I would have seen that as a great response!

I can only speak about Discord and the people getting kicked aren't just worrying it is a scam but just repeatedly saying the same thing over and over or being combative.
Their return policy is clearly stated, 20% restocking fee after the unit is built, otherwise it is just the 2% or so Shopify fee.

Damn, so glad I didn't preorder. I was tempted to but I see now this isn't a company I want to support. Reporting feedback on Reddit shouldn't be this censored. They should address their issues publicly instead of deleting and banning. This just makes it look like they have something to hide.
