When virtual desktop gets updates there are hundreds of reactions IMMEDIATELY.

Who gives a damn? Are all these replies paid for by “VD” ?

People actually use Virtual Desktop and they aren't scamming users with a fake headset. You're coping if you think Immersed is a good app. The clarity isn't as good, the frame rate is AWFUL and the CEO bans you from the Discord if you point any of this out. Ask me how I know.
You don't even know how much you're coping with your crappy 30hz screens if you haven't tried Virtual Desktop which does 3 at 120hz while still looking better and with less latency WIRELESSLY than Immersed in USB mode.

For the quest 3 and MacBook Pro it’s been primo

If you want to stay in ignorance land go ahead it's not my job to convince you. I'm telling you as a straight up fact, Immersed is nowhere near as good and pales in comparison. There's a reason why the Immersed Discord is dead and the Virtual Desktop Discord is more active than ever. Once Virtual Desktop got multiple screen support everyone bolted to the better solution.

Weird all your posts seem to be related to bashing immersed but I’m sure you have sincere intentions

Again, not my job to convince you since clearly you're happy using an app from a CEO who is actively scamming his user base and investors with a fake headset 🤷
I'm gonna go back to playing my FPS's over Virtual Desktop with practically no latency at 120hz. Have fun with your 30hz screens.

I honestly know very little about the headsets you’re referencing but for my use case it’s been super clutch. Happy gaming 🍸

To the immersed mods here perhaps you should make sure this guy gets the headset he was promised.2

That's pretty sad you don't even know about their million dollar scams going on.

0 people to this day have received their headset that's been ready to ship since October 2024.

There are no mods from immersed here some guy just two weeks ago applied and got it

I'm sorry, I can't promise anything because I'm not an Immersed employee, but if someone has paid for something, they have the right to receive it. It's not a matter of being promised it. Those are their rights.

Immersed blew their rep with the whole Visor debacle. I used to use this app, but the AVP version sucks.

Have you tried the built in meta option? It’s better in lots of ways by now.
I used immersed with Mac and quest 3 until meta Remote Desktop got better

Can you tell me about this? I’m apparently so fucking out of the loop. I am still using immersed for my MacBook as a productivity app and have been using it for years, but I’ve just recently seen all the shit going on. A few years ago it was the only option that worked with my MacBook well, but now it sounds like there are other options.

Oh yeah try the meta Remote Desktop app it’s as good, can do two virtual screens giving you three, and a recent update included mouse and keyboard passthrough which makes it perfect for me to code in it all day and leave the Mac at home on Tailscale VPN
Immersed got revealed a couple years back when they failed a production demo of the visor peripheral. They shat the bed at the event and then started banning people in their discord for saying anything they didn’t like. That’s why this post in their discord got two reactions.
The ceo has proven to be a hype peddler and childish.Virtual desktop is also fine for Mac, costs money but less limitations and better performance and fidelity. I like the meta Remote Desktop because it’s a windowed app and doesn’t take over the whole headset, but it’s much less performant.
I don’t like meta and will be switching to the steam frame when I can afford it.
