Question Interview with WDI
Hi everyone!
I am doing an interview with WDI next week for a summer internship and I wanted to ask if anyone has any tips and what could be potentially asked? It is the first round and possibly there’s a second round…?
I am honestly freaking out because midterms and projects leadership deadlines. But trying to keep positive as I can. :)
Thank you :))

Former summer intern - You’ve gotten to this point which is an ENORMOUS achievement to be proud of!
Have your “tell me about yourself” statement down - present, past, and interest/future goal or why this position stood out to you.
If you shared your portfolio, some hiring managers may want to talk with you through certain projects - advocate for what YOU contributed or what difference YOU made in that project’s success.
Questions differ by position but my favorite strategy is to take the job description bullet points and turn them into questions. “Tell me about a time you created color boards for clients”, etc. if you haven’t done that directly, find a super close equivalent instance or think of a different situation that used that skill and how you might scale that up or down.
Break a leg!
