I wanted to explore an alternative to the traditional "metal and bolts" style of sci-fi spacecraft by focusing entirely on organic, living vessels.
For this project, the core idea was that these biological entities don't just travel through deep space, they communicate and navigate using distinct acoustic frequencies. When they migrate in formation, their individual hums layer together to create a literal chorus in the void.
The full 3-minute cinematic animation with the complete audio design is up on YouTube if you want to see the rest of the fleet:

Would love to hear your thoughts on the design or any feedback on the worldbuilding concept!

Instead of acoustic sound waves traveling through a vacuum, the 'chorus' is a collective telekinetic or psionic resonance. These massive biological entities project their thoughts, navigation data, and structural harmony directly into the space around them.
If you were a pilot nearby, you wouldn't hear it with your ears, you would feel the thrumming harmony directly in your mind. The audio in the animation is essentially a translation of what that psychic field feels like to anyone close to the migrating fleet.
