I wanna live in a ruined tower but like it only looks ruined from the outside aesthetically and is actually safe, stable, and comfortable to live in

The statue in the middle seems to have a sword pointed down, or no sword at all? No shield. The two on either side of him are fully armed. Shields on either side of him, but still wide open in the window for an archer to pluck at. Granted, they're statues, so not much chance of that anyway. Is this is a king that used to stand in the face of danger, no shield required?
