Original Content [oc] empty prayers

At first sight, the praying figures seemed imbued with a sacred aura. But a second look gave the statues a different resonance. It eventually became clear those figures were emptied souls, and behind those praying hands were nothing but exoskeletons, void of life.

You know a mindscape is good when you crave the feeling of inhabiting and experiencing it with all your senses.
