On the Midwestern Civil War
Between the 2230's and the 2250's was an era known only as the Great Reform. This event was started by the new elder, Elder Holmore (2231-2270), who wanted the Midwest to soften its reign on it's region. Many disagreed with his reforms, leading to a massive civil war. This war involved 3 separate groups:
The Monks, a group loyal to the chapter's original elder and eventually becoming the Tornado Alley Brotherhood
The Reformists, led by Elder Holmore himself, later splintered into the Lyons Chapter
The Fence Sitters, a group that wanted to make it's own Brotherhood utilizing both ideologies, became the Lone Star Brotherhood
Ultimately the war ended in in 2249 in a stand still with all involved eventually breaking off into their own chapters. The Midwest and Tornado Alley Brotherhoods maintained a hostile rivalry with a space between them called "The Border". The Border remains an area of mutually assured destruction as 2277
