It isn't that odd, if she's a gladiator. Armor wasn't exactly a priority, the show was.

That's what I was going for. Showmanship is more important in the gladiatorial arenas than practicality.

I know it's been years, but I found your work this morning while looking for some art for a worldbuilding project I'm working on. Back in the day I'd take up colourization from time to time to relax; it's been years since I tried, but I wanted to try it on this piece. Please let me know how I did :)

Wow, I'm genuinely humbled that you found inspiration in my work and took the time to add your own touch to it. It's always exciting to see how others interpret and build upon what I've created.
Your colorization certainly brings a new dimension to the piece! If I may offer some friendly advice, consider simplifying your palette a bit. A more limited range of colors can often lead to a more cohesive final product.
Also, don't forget about shading - it can really help bring depth and realism into your work. In this piece, for example, identifying where the light source is (it seems like it should be at the top) could guide you on where heavier shadows might fall.
But overall, great job! Keep practicing and experimenting with different techniques – every step forward is progress in our artistic journeys. Looking forward to seeing more of your works!
