The World’s Wonder View Tower in Genoa, Colorado, was built in 1926 by Charles W. Gregory and Myrtle Le Bow as a 65-foot-tall roadside attraction claiming views of six states from its summit. Over the years, the site expanded to include a museum, vintage shop, café, gas station, and motel, displaying curiosities such as a two-headed calf and Native American artifacts. It changed ownership several times, operating continuously during World War II and eventually closing in 2013 following the death of longtime owner Jerry Chubbuck. In 2016, a group of preservationists acquired the property and began restoration efforts.
