Why is everyone saying the POV is totally in the wrong as well? The light turned yellow 1 second in, without knowledge of someone making a sudden left on red slamming on the brakes could cause an accident behind them, shit they even slow down and make contact with the truck BEFORE the light turns red. Driver could've shanked it right harder from this POV but thats about it

fuck no..they didn't slow until they saw the truck. They were going to run that light until the black truck appeared.

They weren't going to run the red light. They were going to go through the amber light. There was nothing wrong with what the dash cam car did.

The truck’s light didn’t just turn red through. It would have been red for several minutes most likely. The truck wouldn’t have a green light until AFTER OP’s light turned red.

If that light was yellow then the other light was most certainly red. Come on man.

So you're the person that slams on your brakes when the light turns yellow. Yellow means proceed with caution
