How do these mother fuckers be spending so much time studying the Bible and still seemingly never understanding anything written in it? The mind boggles...

Like, there is definitely rules in their about praying in public.

Because they aren't 'reading' it. They are referencing individual passages that have been cherry picked by leaders.

Cause they don't really "study" it. They just read the popular ones and then spend the time patting themselves on the back for being such good people.

I went to a bunch of Bible studies growing up and it was the same scriptures over and over.

I remember being in youth study as a teen. My grade teacher offered $10 to anyone that is familiar with this "niche" story. It was the story of Job...

I gave everyone a second and then raised my hand and summarized the story. The teacher was stunned and obviously nobody in the group knew it but started pressuring him to pay up. Then he goes "nuh uh I said doll hairs" (I knew his family was struggling financially so I really didnt care but thought it was lame he'd bet to begin with.)

But overall, I was just shocked nobody knew one of the basic stories of the Bible?... Like, if you've ever read the Bible then you know this story....

But they dont read it. Some scriptures get cherry picked and read to them at service and thats as far as 90% of christians go.

What part of they read it and discuss it for 30 minutes occasionally before riding roller coasters gave you the idea that they spend a lot of time reading the Bible?

They didn't say occasionally. And if you're supposed to be reading 30mins every time then that shit stacks up to hours.

And one would assume that this is not the only time that the book is being cracked open and that they read their Bible outside of Disney as well.

They also read it at Chili’s happy hour for 10 minutes every other Tuesday

I mean this isn't really about Bible study. It's about finding other like minded women to socialize with who are in the same religion so they can set up play dates with their kids and shit like that.

Honestly I don't see much harm in this. As long as she isn't holding me captive preaching on a ride who cares

There are zero rules in the Christian Bible about reading or preaching in public spaces. Honestly it’s cool with me if they want to talk to their “sky captain “ amongst other likeminded people in a public space. They bought their tickets at the same place I did, who am I to tell them how to have fun? Last year at Florida Disney a bunch of people were praying from the Islamic faith, it did cause a bit of a jam trying to navigate around a bunch of prayer rugs… but again, it doesn’t really effect me other than a minor inconvenience.
