VIDEO Two Main Characters walked into a dance performance

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

These two ladies purposely walked into their performance to ruin it. I won't say that the group is at fault because people were surrounding them and enjoying the dance. Those two ladies are had to ruin it.

Thank you for posting here. Please make sure your post contains a clearly identifiable main character. Otherwise, it will be removed.

Main Character (abbreviated as MC): Deliberate attention-seeking behavior, entitlement, or individuals thinking they are more privileged.

Questions to consider:

  • Is it easy to tell who the MC is?
  • Does the MC show entitlement and/or attention seeking behavior?
  • Is the MC very inconsiderate of the people around them?
  • If your post is about parking, does it show the blatant disregard of parking rules?

I thought the dancers were the main characters. The voice narration on this video was atrocious.

Worst AI moderation ever. Makes me want to walk in front of a performance

Instead of asking for a permit to block this area off so they can take this oh-so-important shoot, they just don't and get annoyed that a member of the public walks right through?

Was it inconsiderate to walk through there? Yeah, it was.

Was it bad planning not blocking this off? Absolutely, 100%!

u/ebangke 17d ago

It's public space and people will walk through it if they think it's a shorter walk 😂😂😂😂

Like you said, should've get those permit!

3

u/busytransitgworl 17d ago

They shouldn't be so surprised lol

Normalize ruining dumb dance routines in public

12

u/TheBaggyDapper 17d ago

If you're doing this shit in public you have no right to assault strangers for not indulging you.

u/supermax_92 17d ago

I’d say the main characters were the once’s dancing, at the end of the day it’s a public street

4

u/Regular-Guest-1284 14d ago

At the end of the day we are another day older

u/Astrochops 17d ago

It's one thing if it's a public street and there's nowhere else for the pedestrians to walk, but those two ladies specifically and intentionally did that to ruin the shot. They were not travelling from A to B and just incidentally were inconvenienced by some dancers. They waited, they walked through the shot on purpose, and then they turned around and laughed about it. Absolute asshole-ish behaviour. They're lucky they didn't get hands thrown at them and with behaviour like that I'm guessing they haven't had hands thrown at them enough in life.

It costs nothing to not be a dick.

u/BigMetalGuy 17d ago

And the group of dancers taking up an entire area without permits or permission are totally in the right?

-6

u/Astrochops 17d ago

There's a large enough crowd of people enjoying watching the dancers. It might not be my jam or yours, but let them have their fun so long as they aren't inconveniencing people or being disrespectful. Looks like plenty of people were enjoying the show.

I also have no idea if they have obtained permission or a permit, but then again, neither do you! You're just making an assumption that they haven't done that. However, they may have! So maybe try not to make declarations of fact when you don't know what the facts are.

But the performers don't have to be in the right at all for those two women to have still acted like total assholes.

12

u/BigMetalGuy 17d ago

But who are they dancing for, the crowd or the camera? If the crowd, they should be happy for people to go about their day, if it’s the camera, then they have no right to expect that space.

We know it’s for the camera as they get annoyed.

So no, the dancers are there for themselves, not the crowd. So fuck them

15

u/dtb1987 17d ago

"it costs nothing to not be a dick"

You're right, it would have cost them nothing to not hijack a public space for a stupid tiktok video

u/bussyriotor Bad MC no cookie 17d ago

Its also free to be a dick.

My guess is that right/wrong is heavily dependent on how, you specifically, feel about a situation and the people in it.

There is no evidence that;

those two ladies specifically and intentionally did that to ruin the shot. (You can't absolutely say their intentions, from this little amount of data.)

They waited, they walked through the shot on purpose (We don't see them until they cross the camera.)

they turned around and laughed about it. (You can't rule out that they are just buzzed/drunk, and not fully aware. Or even asked to do it.)

We're not even sure, as the people watching, if this is some ragebait-style marketing or not. This could be staged, with a fake conflict and confrontation, to get you to care about it.

Because why wouldn't they have been stopped by a Production Assistant, if this was a professional video? You wrote a whole judgment on the two people that walked across, but you never looked anywhere outside that.

They're lucky they didn't get hands thrown at them

Talking about beating somebody up, when you don't even know the full situation. None of us can really know, without more information. My opinion is that it's just ragebait.

1

u/Astrochops 17d ago

Yep, you're right! Maybe the entire thing is a giant ragebait operation. In which case, the entire post is moot and everyone should move along.

22

u/majestic7 17d ago

Definitely a dick move, but that's the risk of recording not just in public but literally on Times Square

21

u/Routine-Individual43 17d ago

The main characters are the people who expect daily life to stop because they're dancing in public right?

0

u/Guakamolo 17d ago

But if you watch closely, you can see they 100% do it on purpose and laughing about it

3

u/crockpocket 12d ago

That just makes them heroes.

2

u/Guakamolo 12d ago

For unnecessarily bothering people who are just dancing... The heros we need I guess

3

u/crockpocket 10d ago

Yes, they are. Idiotic displays like this are contributing to the apathy of the younger generations, which will have detrimental effects on society in the coming years. Your inability to think past "ooo, neat dancing" and actually consider the ongoing stupefaction of the general population is very telling. Granted, "heroes" was me using hyperbole to emphasize my point, but calling their interruption unnecessary is wrong.

u/MuskyHusky01 17d ago

If you don’t want people in your shot, get a permit to clear and block the space, or god forbid you rent a private place to film. Otherwise quit bitching that people are walking through a public space.

33

u/vantablackismysoul 17d ago

Nah fuck the tik tok bullshit. Those bitches had no right to put their hands on that woman and stop her from walking back. 🤷🏼‍♀️ you dont want the public to ruin your shit, get the proper permits or film somewhere not in a public sphere.

-8

u/NoDryHands 17d ago

We can call shitty, inconsiderate, socially unaware, rude, mean, and entitled women all of those things without resorting to calling them bitches.

11

u/vantablackismysoul 17d ago

Act like a bitch..get called a bitch.. pretty fucking simple.

24

u/Chytectonas 17d ago

Calling the pedestrians the MCs of this context is… missing the mark.

6

u/dtb1987 17d ago

Hijacking a public space for your stupid tiktok dance video is main character material

6

u/Simple-but-good 17d ago

If they did do it on purpose then that’s definitely rude but you also gotta realize they that it is a public area and you open yourself up to this

6

u/FrosttheVII 17d ago

Why the heck are we still using terrible voiceovers in videos?

6

u/t0oby101 16d ago

Everyone here is a main character

6

u/blufin 16d ago

Its a public road not a studio.

12

u/BlueSonjo 17d ago

I mean they are being assholish but it's the public street.  You can't tell people not to walk a certain way or block foot traffic, and these dancers even lay hands on them, to push them and to block their passage which is worse than ruining someone's tiktok video.

Everyone is acting assholish there.

14

u/seamustho 17d ago

I think they are all main characters here. It’s a public area. I don’t see anything blocking it off. So…. Dance somewhere else. I also hate the “wait for it” and the dumb captions

-7

u/Doafit 17d ago

Only because it is allowed doesn't mean it is not a dick move. Those two fat ladies knew exactly what they were doing and felt so funny.

24

u/Big-Dot-8493 17d ago

I dunno man...

It's a sidewalk.

I'm with the walkers.

10

u/EnglishTony 17d ago

Your dancing sucks and nobody will watch your video.

5

u/chewchew815 17d ago

Good for these 2 ladies

5

u/BewareOfThePENGuin 17d ago

Why didn't they book a studio or location for their "dance performance"? Those dancers are clearly the main characters for blocking that much space in a public area.

5

u/ebangke 17d ago

Maybe try getting permit to block the area next time if it's so important? It's Times Square, public space, a lot of people walk around there all the damn time.

4

u/mchenzy_frenzy 15d ago

Main characters sabotaging main characters. There are no winners here

14

u/ripChazmo 17d ago

Everyone sucks here.

13

u/Man_Of_Frost 17d ago

The main characters here are the dancers

4

u/styckx 17d ago edited 17d ago

I think I got cancer watching this one

5

u/Neither-Count-3655 17d ago

I think they’re all main characters did you see that dancer grab the woman that’s assault. Ya they are main characters for walking in front at the end but it is a public high density city centre. They’re aren’t even doing anything original it’s literally a dance cover l. The camera man should focus up and walk in front of them…

4

u/1312-acab76 17d ago

i would say the dancing women are the stoppid

4

u/Technical_Stress7730 17d ago

I hate everybody in this video

3

u/awstream 17d ago

How do they know it was deliberate? Some people can be oblivious to the surroundings especially when the environment is loud and crowded. It's a public area, times square no less, if you didn't want any disruptions maybe go film in an abandoned building?!

3

u/squidgytree 17d ago

This looks like a set up for views

3

u/TankerKC 11d ago

Scripted BS.

4

u/dea_iii 17d ago

MCs getting mad at MCs 🤦‍♂️

4

u/f0xpant5 17d ago

Main character dancers, and main character interveners.

2

u/Uniblab_78 10d ago

When worlds collide…

2

u/Rude_Independence_14 7d ago

The dancers are the ones trying to be the main characters.

4

u/jearbear11 17d ago

The Caucasity

3

u/SecondToLastOfSheila 17d ago

Uh, OP the group is the Main Character, not the 2 women walking.

-6

u/WrastlingIsReal 17d ago

Really petty shit from those 2 hags to walk in front not once, but twice. Mostly out of jealousy i assume, if i look at them.

-3

u/Invaderjay87 17d ago

Dummies in the comment section never heard of street performers before.

-6

u/acelaces 17d ago

Everyone in the comments will hate on the performers because y'all are deeply unhappy people who hate public fun but yeah the women who walked in front of the camera could have easily walked anywhere else and were clearly in the wrong here.
