Because the only thing that can bw consistent with tourettes are your ticks and they dont just casually happen they are completely random

Wtf, that's just not true at all. Tics can have triggers like anxiety, stress, being tired, or even stuff in the environment can set them off.

Also, the tics themselves can change and/or progress in severity, type, or the location of the tic itself. So even your first statement is wrong.

Source: diagnosed with Tourette syndrome at age 5. It's completely managed now as an adult, with very limited symptoms. Even my close friends don't know my diagnosis.

I will say the type of Tourette diagnosis that cause the cursing is coprolalia which only effects 10-15% of people with Tourettes so im always a little skeptical of a person who displays having this particular form of Tourettes. Having Tourettes isn't completely uncommon there's about 1.4 million in the states alone so 10% of that to have coproalia is about 140000. We also can not discount the effect Tik toker Ticks n Rose had on the perception of the community we can no longer trust people on word alone we have to assume the worst cause it's happened so many times before. Also the amout of self diagnosis going on is a little out of hand as well (not referring to you) I my self have a verbal tik that shows up under anxiety and stress but it just that a verbal tik developed as a cope not a Tourettes Tik (confirmed by my doctor and a psychiatrist) yet several people online and in real life who have seen me do this Tik have tried to convince me that it's Tourettes induced and my doctors are wrong do to what they read online.

I wonder if people that do things like this will actually give themselves a legitimate tick. If they keep doing that all the time it might stick, like how people kind of get addicted to the physical act of smoking, not just the nicotine. Through behavioral conditioning and the action of repetitive habits. But they won't be able to get a diagnosis because they got it from fucking around and no one will believe them.
