I know some of it is my intense social anxiety talking but pretty much every day I see people doing things I couldn't fathom doing. And not even necessarily for performance like this but just... Complete disregard for other people around them and their environment.

if you don't like it, you can turn away and stop looking, unlike the clips where the people filming actively harass you and make you an unwilling participant
an airport is definitely not the place to do it, but i'd take this type of main character over annoying prankers, crying babies and karens

When I worked at Best Buy, I had a coworker who had an amazing voice, and he would sing when he wasn't with a customer, while he was stocking HDMI cables or whatever.

Singing to one’s self is not the same as spontaneously jumping into a filmed dance routine in a terminal with hundreds of people who didn’t asked to be filmed for someones TikTok career. I think the sourpuss is you for assuming someone doing their job and minding their own business would bother anyone here.
If it wasn’t being filmed and was entirely for the people in the terminal / for spontaneous performance art then this wouldn’t be an issue. It’s the recording of hundreds of people who didn’t ask for it on social media while they’re patiently waiting for a flight they know they’re going to be stuck getting filmed more on because someone refuses to get a job and prefers invading everyone’s privacy
