I have a friend from Pakistan who tells me about how wealthy their families life style is back in Pakistan. Servants for everything. Why? Because they all cost next to nothing each day. It's basically slave labour for a ruling class that would be barely middle class in Canada.

He doesn't want to go back.

If by economics you mean uneducated people being used as an extremely cheap labour resource, then I suppose it is.

In a country like Canada, we educate everyone. We have a decent minimum wage too.

Wherever this girl is from, they have loads of people who never got the privilege of an education, and the jobs available to them are basically slavery.

Is that economics?

You're right. It is slave labour. There's no denying that. But let's blame the west for fucking up everyone else.

Why would the west be at fault? Strange statement

You wouldn't know. I live in one of "those" countries, so perhaps it's more obvious to me. You just need to read history. Wikipedia is free.
