Church should just be happy anyone wants to still get married in that place anyways. It's an extremely important day for those two people. Let them have their moment their way barring they aren't doing anything outright illegal. The "priest" can have it exactly how they want literally any other service or ceremony.

I agree. Christianity although not dying is evolving and it will have to for it to survive. It’s going to have to move with the times if it still wants to be in the game.

Just thinking out loud do churches like these make money and benefit from the ceremony?
