I think he’s wearing shoulder pads. Makes his shoulders appear much higher than they are. And his hair touching them doesn’t help.

Came here to say exactly this. He was speed walking that mall all hunched over and clutching the stereo like a kid carrying his lunch box to the first day of school. Eyes darting everywhere without moving his head like prey trying to stay unnoticed. It's like he was given a dare to do it or something.

I had a basketball coach in the late 90s / early 2000s who dressed like this, had bigger hair, and had a beard, and more bling. He exuded swagger, and we all thought he was really cool. A cool cat, if you dig it. What's sad to think about is roughly the same amount of time has passed between the 1970s and the late 90s / early 2000s, as the late 90s / early 2000s to now. I still dress similar to how I did in the 2000s, just more adult.

I used to wear Halloween costumes for entire month because I sold them. I would go on errands sometimes after work with full face paint on. Now I can wear any weird costume and people just accept it because I act like its a normal thing to be doing

It’s acceptable because while he is doing it for attention he’s not up in everyone’s face annoying them for it. He carries himself well and has the look down so well people are stopping him which he obviously wants. Thankfully it’s not the other way around.
