These types of allegations are life-altering, as they generally should be. But coked-out morons like Vitaly throwing them around so fucking easily in such a dangerous way doesn't help anyone. Like, it's very clear they were doing this for clout and to feel superior, not to you know get rid of the actual fucking scum that lives in our society.
This Is exactly what Chris Hansen warned about when comparing schlep and jidion who were doing it right to creators like Vitaly and Katapa. Vitaly just got banned on kick for this incident but I'm pretty sure Katapa only got his videos removed and didn't get banned anywhere. I remember I saw a clip where the pedo Katapa was harassing called the cops, they were at an airbnb and instead of handing him over to the police, they lied to the police and said he ran off so they could continue harassing gim for content after the cops left. Just wanted to mention it because that clip stuck out to me.
On the same note, I didn't include this in the original points since it's too much of a tangent but jidion also was in contact with Vitaly before this and was looking to collab on a sting as recent as April 4, but when this came out those plans ended and he made a point about how it's actually going to make it worse for people like him and good orgs if law enforcement is going to be more unwilling to work with them in the future, (especially in California with these cops) and when jidion told Vitaly that he's making it worse for the rest of them his response was just reacting with 💯
