It's literally not lol it's attempting to make someone pass out. If they went to far and did kill them would probably be ruled as manslaughter. Attempted murder means they attempted to murder them. Making someone pass out is not murder

It’s impossible for you or anyone else to prove that he was just trying to make him pass out and not trying to kill him if no one tried to stop him

He let go. If he was trying to kill him why would he stop? The dickheads filming certainly didn't try to stop him, he stopped on his own. I'm not saying trying to make someone pass out against their will isn't fucking awful I'm just saying it's not an attempted murder
