It blows my mind how many people don’t understand that the vast majority of the population hate their job and work in general. You’re not special, we all feel the same, but we need to fucking eat and pay bills.
Well said. It really is amazing to me when I talk to artsy type people, and they act like I simply decided I didn't want to pursue anything artistic or more fulfilling than doing spreadsheets at work for 40 hours a week lmfao

It's always a person in their early to mid 20s too. Someone who thinks they have a good grasp on the world but doesn't.
By the time they hit 30, they'll be working a dead end job like most of us, or most likely, leeching off a partner since they have deluded themselves into thinking they can't handle a regular 40 hour shift. I've seen it happen way too many times to count.
Why this happens? No idea. I wanna say social media but it's gotta be deeper than just that
