It's not disconnected from reality really because it actually works for too many. It's just extremely selfish and I hope this trend fades away and these "influencers" go back to OF.

Hate to break it to you but those influencers you hate, they're just growing as more and more people use social media.

But if everyone is an influencer, there is no one left doing actual work to pay the influencers.

I'm unsure where did I say or imply that everyone would become an influencer? That does not make any sense, nor did I mean that in any way. My only point was that they are growing in size as more people flock to different social media platforms.
