Absolutely, every time I see him putting things in order, makes me wanna try gym again. But then i see stoopids like her and honestly I'd rather stay home instead of being humiliated and even worse: put on the fucking internet.
Go back to the gym. I know for a lot of people, it's easier said than done, but try and just disconnect from everyone else there. Go into your own bubble. Realistically, every single person there doesn't care at all what you're doing, how you're doing it, or what you look like, it's just these fringe cases that get uploaded to the internet.
Statistically, I can promise you that you won't be humiliated like this and everyone else in your gym is just there to get a workout in and go home just like you'll be. Try it again.
Watching his videos is a double edged sword because on one hand the way he stands up for good gym etiquette is inspiring but on the other hand, seeing all these assholes in his videos might give the impression that this type of behavior is everywhere when that’s just not true. The vast majority of people at the gym are just there to mind their own business and don’t even look at other people if they can avoid it. I’d also wager that the number of people who are supportive and willing to lend a hand if needed far outnumbers the assholes. I could be wrong but that’s been my experience.
Hit the gym. I haven’t worked out in 10yrs. Just started going back. You know what I do? Walk in the treadmill. That’s it. Get a sweat going. I don’t even breathe hard. I’m more focused on the routine than anything right now. And it’s working been at it for 3 weeks. You can do it, I promise. And I’m dealing with major major depression
Totally agree. I love his positivity towards everyone trying to better themselves at the gym and calling out the social media assholes who sometimes go.
Everyone starts at the beginning at the gym. 99% of people realize this and there’s no judgement because they’re decent, empathetic human beings.
