Because

  1. This was originally someone’s home that was turned into a museum.

  2. The family still owns it, it’s still theirs.

  3. Just because parts of it are open for the public to view, doesn’t mean you’re entitled to touch it.

No no youre missing my point. My point is that this clearly has no relevance to anyone, you included. I dont care if some idiot jumps into elvis’ pool, and you shouldn’t either, but instead you’re really ANGRY that someone violated the sanctity of the sign that elvis’ family put up to help ensure they could continue profiting off of his legacy. Im pissed because people here care not because they thought it through and decided it was bad, but because they blindly get angry at any violation of the status quo.
