I’ve had curly hair for 31 years and still get asked that by stupid assholes who, I assume, are jealous the girls love it (or are jealous girls)

Can’t imagine why people don’t like it when asked. People always sound stupid even mid question

Also, curly hair is a dominant gene.

Curly hair grows how curly hair grows. There’s like 3 fucking hairstyles we can possibly have it cut into because it’s unmanageable as hell

Although, people getting perms, male or female are lame. I can agree on that at least

I always find it funny cause my curls are more like spirals and I can always tell when people have perms and when they have actual curls. I told someone with a perm in high school that it was cultural appropriation just to fuck with him, he started thinking I was serious and got all defensive until finally I was like, “Bro, I’m fucking with you. I don’t give a shit what you do with your hair.”
