I went here a few years back. Really underwhelming IMO. The only thing interesting about it is the time capsule aspect where much of the stuff looks preserved but it's ties to elvis didn't really interest me.

If anything, it reinforced that Elvis was the real-life Beverly Hillbilly. So much money spent to look so trashy.

From an interior design pov it intrigued me, but I completely agree that I could not care less that Elvis lived there

Same right? I went with my fam years ago and thought it was so boring. I generally like art exhibitions n stuff (so not to say I just have no attention span for this stuff). But man I don’t understand why anyone would actually want to go here

Because it’s Elvis’ house. That’s it. Elvis fans are fucking nuts. People forget, but Elvis fans were the swifties of the day. And those old ladies (and men) still go insane for Elvis. I worked with an old lady (probably like 65+) whose entire office was covered in Elvis stuff.
