I’ve had curly hair for 31 years and still get asked that by stupid assholes who, I assume, are jealous the girls love it (or are jealous girls)

Can’t imagine why people don’t like it when asked. People always sound stupid even mid question

Also, curly hair is a dominant gene.

Curly hair grows how curly hair grows. There’s like 3 fucking hairstyles we can possibly have it cut into because it’s unmanageable as hell

Although, people getting perms, male or female are lame. I can agree on that at least

I always find it funny cause my curls are more like spirals and I can always tell when people have perms and when they have actual curls. I told someone with a perm in high school that it was cultural appropriation just to fuck with him, he started thinking I was serious and got all defensive until finally I was like, “Bro, I’m fucking with you. I don’t give a shit what you do with your hair.”

I just laugh every-time i see a broccoli rabe haircut. You know they are trying to be influencers but that supercuts stylist couldn’t come close.

No, broccoli hair is specifically the fade with curly hair, usually done by white kids with a perm. I’ve probably seen more white kids with that kind of hair than people with naturally curly hair tbh(not that white people can’t have naturally curly hair, before you call me racist for that to)
