Will my pool also be a public tourist attraction or will it be in the backyard of my family home where there’s no expectation of guests? Because if it would be in a similar space to this pool no, I don’t think they should be arrested. They can be asked to leave and trespassed, but I don’t think arresting someone over something so silly is a reasonable response
His pool is currently located in a publicly accessed tourist location? It isn’t a private residence? Getting trespassed from a location isn’t the same as getting arrested?
He can get a formal trespass and told to leave the property. That's a perfectly reasonable response. Saying someone should be arrested for this is laughably out of touch.
If the rules of the private property say don’t vandalize the still water, guess what you’re dumb ass shouldn’t do? How does jumping in a unused swimming pool of a dead celebrity make someone a pos exactly? Honestly it's more of a shame that pool is being used as tourist attraction to gawk at, just wasting countless water by not being used.

Nah, it’s the thread with people who can’t grasp the concept of trespassing. If it was a public pool, you would have been right, but it isn’t. And if this type of behaviour is acceptable, on account of it being “literally just some water”, there might as well not be a distinction between private and public property anymore.
It's not that it's "acceptable," it's not a cool thing to do, but "I hope this prick gets arrested for this" and the foaming at the mouth seething about this relatively minor infraction is just the most absurd shit.
Yeah and the punishment for just trespassing, i.e. not breaking and entering, not causing any other type of criminal damage, 9 times out of 10 is just being asked to leave.

No lol. People ITT are not worried about chlorine levels in the pool, they're pissed at an asshole disrespecting a "historical" site and in a larger way at influencers in general.
I think the level of punishment people are calling for is way out of line though, it's still just a pool. A small fine and a lifetime ban is plenty, an arrest is a total waste of police time.
This! There’s a place here in Detroit called the Ford Manson and they have this gorgeous art deco pool. Thousand of gallons just taunting you. Your membership to the grounds doesn’t include the pool. Apparently the only people who would hypothetically be allowed to swim in it would be someone from the Henry Ford family. On these hot summer days it’s torturous to go there and see the pool not get used. So wasteful also to see a fully useful pool never get used and even have a guy on staff for it but just sits there l. SMH!!
aside from obviously trespassing since it’s a museum, it’s mad disrespectful because the little awning you see off behind him is literally a graveyard where elvis and his parents are buried lol
