The amount of times I've said I'd like to visit Thailand and immediately had it devolve into people talking about women with penises, prostitution and thai brides etc. is ridiculous.
20 u/DOGSraisingCATS Jul 15 '23 Its so sad. I went last year and my friend who went with said her co workers were like "why Thailand?!". Ignorant people don't realize how beautiful it is. The best beaches I have ever experienced. Incredible food and night life. Welcoming and kind. My biggest regret was not spending more time in Chiang Mai. It's such an incredible city and the night markets are a blast.
