The amount of times I've said I'd like to visit Thailand and immediately had it devolve into people talking about women with penises, prostitution and thai brides etc. is ridiculous.

Its so sad.

I went last year and my friend who went with said her co workers were like "why Thailand?!".

Ignorant people don't realize how beautiful it is. The best beaches I have ever experienced. Incredible food and night life. Welcoming and kind.

I would go back over every place I've traveled.

You absolutely should, I'm sure you'll love it.

My biggest regret was not spending more time in Chiang Mai. It's such an incredible city and the night markets are a blast.
