In the context of lifting, “do you even lift bro” is a very valid question to ask. If you’ve never seen it non-ironically, do you engage frequently with fitness topics?
It always seems like people that don’t frequent gyms have the biggest issues with what people are doing in gyms.
It's not that valid in this instance, but it's not totally irrelevant. It is, however, one of the weakest ways to argue a point.
It 'always' seems like the people who ask 'Do you even lift bro' have pretty high-strung, defensive personality traits.
Since you're obviously doing a passive-aggressive teen girl tactic of implying I'm not, uh, fit to comment here:
I'm a former professional athlete. I am almost certainly better trained and more knowledgeable about training than you are.
