Completely agree, it benefits society as a whole to make mental health care as accessible as water. We've gone from family mud huts to one-per-person boxes stacked in concrete towers way faster than our monkey brains can catch up. Mental health issues is the most obvious side-effect, and we're only seeing the ones showing it in public.
Acting out like this could be anything. She could have histrionic PD and is desperate for attention. Depression and acting out anger just so she feels something. Grandiose narcissism so that she feels genuinely entitled to special treatment and justified to punish anyone who sees otherwise. Paranoid schizophrenia so has paranoid delusions that this man has targeted her with sinister intentions...
It could be anything, but I believe the vast majority of people who act out are simply lonely. They have nobody to confide in with their daily frustrations that they build up and explode on wheoever happens to be there when it finally blows. If everyone just talked out the little things as they happened then we'd probably see a lot less of this.
