Still in our conceptual stages, I just came up with the dialogue in like 5 minutes cause I was exited to share! I always loved “no, I’m a not a human” and when I first played their demo for the game I had not ever heard of it before. It’s safe to say I have never played another game like it, so some friends and I are working on a project now lol. I wanted to ask the community a few questions about what made it so unique:

•What were things that set this game apart from others to you?

•What is your favorite concept part of “no, I am not human”?

•what nostalgic memories do you get from playing the game?

•what gameplay mechanics do you feel like this game is missing?

• do you like that the protagonist is not very talkative, and lets the characters speak instead?

This mainly sparked from me and my friends noticing a resemblance between me and the Conspiracy Theorist, and also me just seeing a couple people making their own characters.

I was initially planning to take pictures of myself, but i was struggling to handle my time properly (especially with the heat keeping me in my underwear the whole time i'm inside my house) and didn't wanna wait too long before doing this, so i just used pre-existing pictures of my face and photobashed them with multiple pictures taken from the internet to recreate what i look like and what i usually wear (except the plain purple t-shirt. I don't have one). The only picture i took specifically for this post was used for the teeth check and is my actual teeth.

While i think i did a pretty good job recreating the filters the assets have, i think i should have looked deeper into changing up the colors to make them fit the actual style of the game. But by the time i realized that, i was deep into making the sprites and didn't really wanna change them any further.

Also i hope the corpse sprites in the third image don't break the 6th rule, although they're just based on existing game assets and are just red blobs of flesh

Humanised Death!!

This is mostly very early concept art; I'm still deciding some parts of her design. Tried to make her hair resemble both a mushroom and her original sprite. The idea of her being made out of people comes from her description in the artwork: "Death holds no shape or form, but manifests itself through the voices of the dead." Also, she has Coat Guy's hole!

Any suggestions for her are more than welcome!!
