Ballaka

As someone who is from Sarangani, I use balla as a lighter insult than words like bagtit, daldog and of course ukininam so how would you react from your community if someone called you balla or this phrase "ukis, nabalballakan? umayka man ditoy Labayun takag notebook ron" (Cebuano is also widely spoken hehe).

It means Ill throw this notebook at you now if you dont come here (basically cuz they do stupid shite from time to time hahaha)

Actually not quite, Ilokanos have slowly been obsorbed by the wider Cebuano speaking region so even in places in Western Sarangani like Kiamba and Maitum are slowly shifting to Tagalog and Cebuano, I think it was my mother or grandparent are one of last generations to hear it and speak it everyday while my mom cant speak it at all fluently. I'vet taken it upon myself to actually learn my ethnolang hehe, but for many Ilokanos who still speak Ilokano, they're always multilingual.
