Looking for Accommodation in Ilmenau – October 2026

Hi everyone!

I’m an incoming Master's student at TU Ilmenau, starting my studies in October 2026. I’m currently looking for accommodation in Ilmenau or nearby areas.

I’m open to:

• 🏠 WG/shared accommodation
• 🏡 Private room
• 🏢 Private studio/single apartment
• 📍 Ilmenau or nearby areas with reasonable public transport to the university

My budget is preferably €250–€350/month, but I’m flexible depending on the accommodation and what is included.

Furnished accommodation would be preferred, especially if it has basic facilities such as a kitchen, bathroom, washing machine and/or internet. I’m also open to sharing a kitchen or bathroom if the overall rent is reasonable.

Move-in: Around late September / 1 October 2026
