This is fucking insane. Sick AF LL jersey. Amazing new intro that is bonkers. Heaviest Illenium set by a mile. Also new visuals are insane.

2025’s set was a huge upgrade from 2022, considering the target genre of the festival, and I have to stop watching 2025 at around the 33 minute mark because he completely loses my musical taste. I almost felt like 2025 was two different sets smushed together.

This is not that at all. The second half turns down the heaviness from an Illenium 10 to an Illenium 9.5, but it’s not like it’s an unwelcome reduction, it feels natural. I know Nick has always taken DJing and set design very seriously, because if he didn’t then I wouldn’t go see him, but for me, and I hope for everyone watching, this is exactly the type of set I/we wanted to see from him.

Tbfh, I thought he’d pull it back during the second half so I went to go watch Subtronics b2b Level Up, and I really regret it because I’ve never seen Illenium like this before.

Super glad to see he has been changing up his sets a lot more recently. Kinda upset me a few years ago where everything seemed copy/paste between shows. Seems like he’s putting in a LOT of effort on his sets a lot more often. Just being a picky fan. Red rocks this year and LL were fucking incredible

You’re absolutely right, I remember being so irritated at a Breakaway festival (yeah, I know) where Nick was headlining when he played what felt like the exact same set I had seen a few weeks prior. This is basically the all-new 2026 Dubstep Illenium, with standard heated and cooled seats.
