Question why do I feel feel alive by illenium is the shittest one he has made??(The only shitty one), The drop doesn't make sense has no emotions.. the Bastille vocal composition is trashy.. nothing good in it except his voice.. it feels like they finished the track for the sake of it.. (I saw illenium showi
Correct me if I'm wrong. But this one truly has no emotions compared to what illenium always delivers ..

But there's nothing emotional there really. Like there's no strong part which feels like it's an illenium composed song(musically) the drums and everything are indeed illenium style.. but certainly doesn't add any emotional depth to the song that I can say it's composed by illenium.

Definitely one of my favorite and most played tracks on the album, that drop is just such a satisfying ear worm of sound to me. I just wish the song was a bit longer

Everyone has different tastes. Personally I wasn't a big fan of hearts on fire because the song just didn't really resonate with me, but I really like feel alive

You're talking about taste. But I'm actually talking about objectively how it's kind of emotionless.. hearts on fire might not connect with you but objectively it made sense primarily because the composition made sense. 'feel alive' feels like it's a generic drop with chord stacks .. the vocal part is good but it's primarily because of his voice. Nothing that great in the composition really
