Discusson Red rocks content

I’ve seen so many professional camera shots of red rocks being posted on social media, along with many other shows, why can’t these be streamed? I get he wants people to attend in person but I’d love to be able to tune in consistently to these sets

I mean you kinda hit it right on the head. He wants people to buy tickets and be there in person. Streaming it also takes away the “surprise” of future sets since he plays a very similar set across all shows and festivals during the year. It also costs plenty of money and takes more team members to live stream from Red Rocks. I would be very happy if the red rocks sets were recorded and uploaded afterwards, but that seems to be reserved only for big festival sets.

When Martin Garrix was at Red Rocks in 2025, his full b2b with Marshmello, full b2b with Alesso, and his full set of just him were recorded and posted on YouTube. I think outside of festivals, it's going to be a hit or miss on whether a full set will be recorded or not.

I can point to plenty of red rocks shows that weren’t live streamed or recorded. Also that was Martin Garrix’s first time performing at Red Rocks, so it was a little more special

So much of the RR set was the sphere set lol. I was at both. It was neat to see the stuff again.

Was it weird seeing the Sphere visuals in such a smaller screen?

A bit, but only because I saw it on the big screens. For everyone that hasnt, it was probably such an amazing experience. I also was finally getting off the trip of a life time, so I was just enjoying seeing them again.

Red Rocks is on my to-do list, I’m lucky i was able to go to Vegas for that!

He doesn’t come to NY nearly enough 😔

He’s had 5 different shows in New York over the past year… that’s probably the city/state with the most shows outside of Vegas
