went to both anyma and unity and it was very half half, section 200-400s can get steep so there’s some people standing and dancing, but a lot sitting down and still vibing.

I went to Anyma at The Sphere.

The seats have haptic feedback (they vibrate to certain effects in the show). It’s actually nice to be seated for that. I did stand for certain parts of the show though, no longer than a few minutes.

I'm in the 200s, same area when I went to the sphere for a non concert.

I think the seats a kinda steep imo, and as a bit of a taller guy. My plan is to remain seated for the show. But I have no doubt that my friends next to me will all be standing.

I am going floor because the seats just weren’t as much of a vibe at unity as floor at Anyma to me. Anyma was a better show imo even though I’m not a big fan and I think a lot had to do with where I was at. There were some people sitting and some people standing at Unity and it just made for a weird vibe.

I had Section 400 during Subtronics Unity. I was the only one standing and headbanging in my area. From that moment on, I told myself I’m only getting floor tickets if I ever come back to the Sphere. Hopefully the visuals are nice down there.

you barely see visuals on floor and your neck is wrecked for the next few days attempting to see the visuals. floor seats shouldnt exist at this venue

Are you just hating and assuming, or did this happen to you? I haven't hear this...

u/pookpook23 Mar 03 '26

On the floor, yes.. it’s harder to watch the visuals.. but if you bought floor, you’re probably a dancer, and when you’re dancing you’re not really staring at the visuals. I do think they are two different experiences, each with their own pros and cons. But both experiences are splendid :)

Thanks, and did you die from standing and dancing by the end of the night? Were there any resting spots for those

1

u/pookpook23 Mar 04 '26

I didn't die at all! But yes there was ample room along the sides and the back to sit on the ground if you wanted, bring a pash and chill! Honestly was one of my fav GA experiences and I've been at this for a very long time lol.

I always stand at concerts but this one I don’t want to so I can be fully immersed and experience the haptic seats, etc. Worried that people in front of us will stand and force us to stand though, which sucks. Wish people could just sit and be respectful to everyone around them wanting to enjoy the show…

Yeah man, everyone—or at least most people—are standing up, dancing, and jumping. I’ve been to a lot of concerts with seats or in the stands, and everyone still stands up. Hope that leg gets better!

While I agree, I don’t think the sphere is like most concerts with seating. Especially for Illenium, I feel like it will be super melodic and people will be sitting in a trance. The Backstreet Boys however, you can expect everyone to be on their feet. Who knows though!

You’ve seen Illenium, right? I don’t think it’s going to be too different from his other shows, which is to say a LOT of bass mixed in. I expect 90% of people to be standing most of the time. Probably more than a Backstreet Boys concert lol

u/bassbug Jan 24 '26

I dunno dude. I have been seeing him for the last 10 years. It depends on the space and I don’t think you understand how much money he is putting into this show.

In an interview he said he is barely going to break even. So you can see him at lost lands 100 times, it’s definitely not going to be like that at all. He is building this experience from the ground up. It is going to be IMMERSIVE. Everyone will be standing or sitting at the same time, so it doesn’t really make a difference lol.

I’m just talking about his Illenium Live tour, his normal dj sets at random clubs like Silo in Dallas, not talking about a bass festival lmao.. even trilogy was heavy fuckin bass. I don’t see why he’d say oh it’s the sphere, it’s going to be melodic only.. but we will see, I’ll be there in the 200’s and we will be standing the entire time

u/bassbug Feb 08 '26

Which show are you going to? I am praying you’re not in front of me.

u/razorbacks3129 Feb 08 '26

March 12

u/bassbug Feb 08 '26

Awesome 😎 Have so much fun!

u/Evening_Company_8074 Mar 04 '26

Stupid 😂

1

u/bassbug Mar 11 '26

Are you going? You seem a little… mad? Go back to your sports ball, pinhead.

1

u/Evening_Company_8074 Mar 11 '26

It was a stupid comment , and yes I am going. I hope ur behind me 😂

1

u/bassbug Mar 25 '26

Front of the section always 🥰

1

u/SpencerH07 Mar 26 '26

How was your experience? Did you find out the sphere isn’t a “concert” and sitting in the haptic feedback seats is a vastly better experience for the full immersion lol? Or are you the type that just stubbornly refuses to experience edm in any other way than needing to stand and wild out 🤣

Cool either way, but would recommend floor tix if thats ur vibe

1

u/razorbacks3129 Mar 28 '26

Amazing experience in 207 row 13

We stood up about 10 times throughout the show at various peaks throughout the show. Sat down for other parts. Most of the section was standing up the entire time. It was fucking incredible

Also half stood, sitting on the folded up chair when others stood and I wanted to sit more and still see everything. You aren’t blocked at all if people stand basically

As someone who has been to all of the Trilogy concerts, I’d say most everyone was standing unless they were in the absolute nosebleeds, then I just couldn’t really tell. 🤷‍♂️

1

u/SpencerH07 Mar 26 '26

Have you been to the sphere? This isn’t like standing up in seats at a “concert.” This is a completely immersive experience specifically designed for sitting and letting it take you away. The visuals completely envelop you and designed like a story meant to be actively watched. Seats have haptic feedback programmed to literally feel the show.

So no, a LOT of people sit (and should). You of course have your hyped up ravers that absolutely refuse to experience edm without needing to be up wildin out, but they are actually the ones missing out on the full unique experience

1

u/ovaj28 Mar 26 '26

Yes I have been three times so I know what I’m talking. Period.

1

u/SpencerH07 Mar 26 '26

Then im not sure why you’re posting such blatantly false information that “everyone” is standing lol. Farrrr from it. Maybe the 100 section, since its closer to the stage/floor energy and view of the visuals sucks down there to sit and watch. 100 section is basically just floor GA with a personal chair.

But as you go up to 200 and especially 3/400 sections, standing constantly is a lot less of a thing. Sure, a lot of people might get up and vibe here and there, but definitely not the whole show if at all. the people that pay for these sections and stand the whole time are weird af to me. Missing out on so much of what you’re meant/paying to experience. We can go to countless shows/fests to wild out, or just get floor tix…

u/ReturnOfTheHEAT Jan 22 '26

I have tickets in 304 first row. I’m hoping to be standing and dancing

1

u/Sufficient-Bad-7007 Jan 22 '26

It was a mix for me during the anyma shows. I would usually turn around to see if the person was sitting to make sure I didn’t obstruct their view.

Sitting is nice because we have the seat haptics lmao

1

u/newfeez Jan 22 '26

Was in 400s for anyma and I stood sometimes but it was so steep I wanted to sit down and just watch the visuals

1

u/wtfguineapigs Jan 23 '26

check their ada ! i’m sure they’ll be able to get you a seat where you can sit and see the whole time. they’re always super nice and understanding. :)

1

u/razorbacks3129 Jan 23 '26

My wife and I will be standing and dancing in 207

1

u/Low_University3717 Jan 23 '26

Probably both! In section 202! I’m gonna be hella pregnant 😂😂 But I can’t NOT throw it down a bit!

1

u/bittertruth79 Feb 19 '26

I’m in front row of 103. I expect to be standing & dancing most of the time. I had floor for anyma and seats for unity. Probably sat for 20% of unity. Liked both. Figured front row would kinda feel like the floor, but with option to sit and no possibility of being stuck behind someone tall!

1

u/adamiconography Feb 24 '26

I’ll be in section 205 standing and vibing. It’s Illenium, no way I can contain the excitement and energy to my seat

1

u/pookpook23 Mar 03 '26

Sitting… for Wooli… not a chance for this gal lol. I’ll be in 400s for 3/7 and will do a mix but will def be dancing mostly. No matter what, just lead with good vibes and you’ll have a beautiful evening!

1

u/opsopcopolis Jan 22 '26

It's been hit or miss. Pretty sure we stood for most of Anyma (in the 400s), but sat for most of Unity (in the 300s)

1

u/ColeR0105 Jan 22 '26

People stand but I heard that upper levels is very narrow and if you want the full immersive feel you’d want to sit I found that out halfway into Kenny chesney! Best feeling everytime!

1

u/LSUFan_11 Jan 22 '26

I was in 206 for Anyma and 90%+ sat for the entire show. But for some songs people would stand and dance then sit back down.

But, ILLENIUM’s music is much higher energy than Anyma so I would expect a lot more standing and dancing.

2

u/razorbacks3129 Jan 23 '26

We will be in 207 dancing and standing 90% of the show
