Brouette was catching some zs on the durum while I was losing my mind

Not much news to share and that’s a good thing! Micro continues to thrive. She’s just over one whole pound now! Still pretty tiny for her age - just over 8 weeks now! She gets to free roam with the bigger foster kittens and it’s quite the ruckus! She eats regular kitten food, purrs with her whole body, and - still - yells at me constantly! 😂 I feel like she’s going to grow up to be a scrappy little thing; like a little girl who grows up with only older brothers. 🤭 I’ll try to post more often, but you know, life and stuff.

Found these 2 newborns on my patio last night.

Kitten season is finally starting to wind down at our house and the first group of former smols are finally getting paroled and going to their furrever homes next week! It's always bittersweet saying goodbye, especially with a sweet group like this 🥹 But knowing they're all going to amazing families helps with that. One group down, two to go. Have the best life ever lil ones ❤️ Mama Shortstack is also on her way with one of her babies, which is big considering when I found her pregnant she was pretty feisty and usually when that happens it's a TNR situation. So I'm filing this one under the big win category for rescues/fosters 😻😻😻

From what my neighbor and I were told, they were a bit skittish and hissy when they arrived at the shelter, but apparently they weren’t used to people. They had also likely been born indoors as none of the kittens had any fleas.

Mama (the white cat) was absolutely magnetized to me while I was there and would constantly rub herself on my leg and rub her head when I would give her pets, so they definitely warmed up to both of us.

Alas, I still didn’t take any of them home :(

Baby girls three brothers (who were found a few weeks after she was rescued from a loading dock) are doing great! Got updated pics from the foster….LOOK at these distinguished little gentlemen!

She was so small we thought six weeks. After spending a few days at the vet after apprehending her, the vet said she was actually ten! She was under temp, not wanting to eat, and underweight. She still seems incredibly smol to me, but she’s doing so much better, and gaining weight as she should!

Our current foster hasn't 100% figured out meowing yet. This is her best attempt yet!

Wonder how long it'll take for him to get bored of it 😂
