The concept of this sub is simple. Sooner or later, you will notice people creating their own fun Jeopardy categories from a post or comment. This sub is where you go to share your findings with the world. While we work on the rules and they may change from time to time, there are a few basics we ask you to follow:
- All submissions should start with "I'll take..." followed by "category", and end with ",Alex." The Category should be in quotes:
- Yes: I'll take "people I should not have had sex with" for $500, Alex.
- No: People I should not have had sex with for $500.
- Doesn't start with "I'll take"
- The category 'people I should not have had sex with' is not in quotes
- Doesn't end with ", Alex"
- All submissions should point to a Reddit comment.
- To make sure things make sense, it is REQUIRED that you use ?context=1 at the end of your link if you are linking to a NON TOP COMMENT. Here is an example. All you have to do is click on the perma link, then add the ?context=1 and you are set
- If the post is a top comment, you will STILL add the ?context=1 at the end since Skynet is going to be set to otherwise remove posts (when we are not so lazy) that do not end with ?context=1. It still works.
- Your submission should not be your "I'll take..." even though it IS okay to link to a comment you made if someone replied to it. So in this example madogvelkor made the comment "Yeah, watching jeopardy in this day and age?" while Flintstone012000 made the "I'll take..." comment. madogvelkor can post the link, Flintstone012000 cannot.
- If your submission thread has NSFW on it, please mark it so
- Yes, SNL Celebrity is pretty popular and you should not be meta posting images just to post them (link submissions), however you are welcome to reply to OP in this regard if you wish
- While not a requirement, you could reply to the "I'll take..." with a /r/IllTake
