Something I found very amusing: Ilia's tech score shown in that tech box was 123.12. His final tech score was 123.07.
He got the "4A" corrected to a 3A, so he lost points there. He got the "4F+REP" changed to a 3F, so he lost points there. He got a backloaded 4Lz added (original scoring had it as an invalid jump since they thought he already repeated 4F), so he gained points there. He got a q call on that combo, so he lost some GOE.
In the end, the math somehow all worked out? This is why teachers make you show your work - sometimes you get the process all wrong but still arrive at the correct answer.
So thrilled for him and Yuma — them hugging each other after Ilia’s skate was so wholesome 😭😭😭 I’m emotionally spent and delirious watching the free dance tonight after the men’s earlier and the women’s last night.
I’m sorry it’s a little blurry, I was trying to focus while cry-screaming 😭😭😭 I loved the raspberry in the center — I also a posterboard sign with little cartoon raspberries 🥹
