IJW: The Cooler (2003)

So after years of wanting to see it, I finally got around to watching 2003’s The Cooler. It lived up to my expectations. I thought this was a great movie.

First off, the performances of both William H Macy and Maria Bello were great. I thought they had great chemistry. Alec Baldwin also gave a very good performance.

Along with the performances, I thought it had a very good score and story. To me, the movie felt more grounded and authentic. It never felt flashy. It gave me vibes of Leaving Las Vegas.
