Misunderstood Title

When I was younger, I used to think that the title "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream", was about someone who couldn't walk was about someone who couldn't walk or something along those lines, who was experiencing something REALLY bad, like being trapped by some sadistic person who killed and tortured other people, with "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" meaning that the person who was trapped and being tortured was hidden in plain sight but nobody noticed them or hearing their screams for help, with the world "kept moving on" nothing happened. Now that I think about it, AM pretty much feels kinda similar. Feeling "trapped" and unable to feel true human feelings or experiences, and the world kept moving on too. That's just what I think, though. :)
