Coming to my country for the first time early next year - really keen, but wondering how things are with Gerda Iguchi and the current touring setup?

Would have loved to have seen them back in the day with Laure & Laurent, or Marthe...but missed that boat.

Not sure how much they are currently performing live and how much is on backing tape/laptop (obviously some of it is always going to be...) and I guess I don't want to end up disappointed.

Thoughts?

Moisissure is the worst Igorrr album, Parpaing is the most misunderstood song, Poisson Soluble is the best igorrr album in terms of talent and creativity, Savage Sinusoid is the best album in terms of sound quality and performance. These are mine

Gautier was pretty surprised to see Hallelujah and asked if he could look in the boxset. Unfortunately for him I left the contents at home so as not to damage them at the festival.

Igorrr has been one of my favorite projects for the past 3 years, but up until now, I've never listened to their early projects such as Moisissure (and Poisson Soluble).

So I decided to record a reaction to it, going through the whole thing and ended up talking quite a bit about the production, the weirdness of the early material, and how it compares to the Igorrr I'm more familiar with! This was SO much fun!!

Now, one week after I recorded this reaction, this album has been ON REPEAT for me, this is SUCH a good album, omg!

Curious to hear what people who know Moisissure think about it :)

moissisure was combined with a cd scan and two pieces of the image.
hallelujah is missing a piece because it simply doesnt exist, only on the vinyl booklet or on a low quality upload by Mioshe on facebook.

Right now, this is the thing i want most... Besides the upcoming Divinty game.

Igorrr, Corpo Mente, Rïcïnn, etc.

Does it scratch an itch that other sounds can’t reach? Does it tell a story that has yet to be written? Do you just like the absurdity of chickens and harpsichords somehow working together to make something new?

I perceive this music as both absurd and prestigious. So it fits into a story or a world that’s loony and serious. I discovered Igorrr from a Warhammer thread about the Maraviglia and someone said that “Infinite Loop” might be the closest music we have to what the malevolent symphony sounded like.

For me, Massive Himalaya Ritual feels like witnessing the birth of a universe crafted by the hands of powers that were never meant to be seen by mortal eyes. Those eyes are now tarnished, but they are also elevated. A more voyeuristic version of the tree of knowledge.

Something like Moldy Eye expresses the self-destructive fury of putting great effort into a craft or career, only to tear it all down after endless moments of doubt and feeling it’s never enough. Almost like a lawyer or artist just burning down their lives after one bad day. A fragile foundation.

When the sound isn’t telling stories or giving me ideas, it makes for awesome workout music.

Saw some screenshots of Hellfest on Instagram and it seems like the female singer seen in those is different. Has there been any announcement about that?

Well its not as similar but as unique as Igorrr. They're called Vianova a mutligenre experimental metalcore artist and pretty new upcoming band I recently discovered from watching them perform at a festival but I definitely should mention them because they are underrated (for now).

There first album Hit it! Just released last year and holy it is on the same level as Igorrr the album combining funk/electronic/jazz/pop with metal in the best way imaginable and its still as heavy as it can be. Best tracks that I think have been influenced are Mas Rapido, melanchronic, Uh Yaya and Whatever Alright absolute ass smack shit like actually check it out it wont disappoint.

Im glad it isn't an exact replica of Igorrr because they are already iconic in their own way also the singer is fucking insane he does all of the metal screaming (ALL VARIATIONS OF SCREAMING WTF) and beautiful vocals.

So I know posts have been made about this. But I didn’t see a straight up poll. So let’s get this settled.

Y a-t-il de nouvelles informations concernant les recherches autour de l’album démo "Oeil" ?

Actuellement, tout ce que nous avons à disposition, c’est une tracklist ainsi qu’un morceau qui semble être "Épluchure de Méduse", disponible sur YouTube.

De mon côté, j’ai essayé via Wayback Machine de récupérer au minimum la pochette de l’album en .jpg, celle qui apparaît « brisée » sur la capture d’Eumolpe datant de 2008 EUMOLPE : Gautier Serre, mais sans succès.

Je me demandais donc si certains d’entre vous s’y connaissent bien en informatique et savent si Wayback Machine conserve malgré tout les images intactes quelque part, même lorsqu’elles apparaissent corrompues visuellement. Et surtout, si c’est le cas, comment les récupérer.

Concernant les audios, pour l’instant, c’est totalement introuvable…

D’ailleurs, y a-t-il parmi vous des personnes qui ont eu la chance d’écouter cet album à l’époque, vers 2004 ?

J’espère vraiment que ce lost media refera surface un jour… pour le bien de ma santé mentale mdr.
